I have childhood memories of my neighbors van that had a similar graphic with these colors painted on it. The colored stripes are made from layers of encaustic (wax) paint and are slightly raised off the wood background that has a thin coat of clear encaustic medium.
Edges are left natural with a coat of Minwax
