Ready to try a painting medium unlike anything else? Discover the world of encaustic, a rich, wax-based painting process made with beeswax, damar resin, and pigment. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn how to work with molten wax and fuse each layer with heat to create smooth translucent depth, intriguing textures, inlay details, and more. No experience is needed, and all materials and tools are provided. By the end of the workshop, you’ll head home with two finished encaustic paintings of your own.
